I Colori dell'Autunno nei Giardini della Guastalla

The subject of this work is the Guastalla Park in Milan, recognizable from the balusters in white granite that surround the little lake. In this work you can see the typical element of autumn: the leaves are yellow and brown and they cover the ground, while there are colorful rosebush in bloom in all the park.

The artwork is signed in original by the artist and is given with the certificate of authenticity. It is published on the artist catalogue Athos Faccinanci edited by Deodato Art Gallery.

Athos Faccincani Artist

Athos Faccincani was born in 1951 in Peschiera del Garda, Italy.

Once he finished the high school, he decided to dedicate himself only to his art.

The works of his early years are characterized by a dark expressionist style and portray suffering characters; he visited psychiatric hospitals and prisons in order to be able to better express the pain and anguish of his subjects.

In the ‘70s he received the nomination of Knight of the Italian Republic as a recognition of his tremendous work showcased in the “Resistence’s exhibition” (an exhibition about the Italian war Resistance).

The president Sandro Pertini himself gave him this honour. After this important event, Faccincani lived a period of frustration and confusion and decided to quit painting for a year, which he spent traveling, especially in south of Italy.

When he restarted working, his style and subjects were very different.

The influence of the beautiful places that he had visited during his sabbatical year left a mark on his art.

No more dark colours, pain and suffering. His new style takes something from the impressionist movement, but the most important changes are the new subjects: Majestic landscapes, representing mostly the coasts of Italy, showing the beauty of Mediterranean lands.

In this new artistic path Faccincani expresses the opposite of his previous works.

Every canvas has the same guidelines, such as a bright sun in a blue sky, the typical Mediterranean houses and the lush colors of the vegetation.

His canvases catch the spectator eyes because of the strength of the landscapes, the brightness of the colors, and for the beauty of the views he describes.

The artwork is delicate and requires a custom-made wooden box to protect it during transportation. Delivery to EU countries takes 5-15 business days.

If you live in Europe (CEE) the price we show you already includes taxes. The works are taxed either with VAT exposed (22%) or VAT with the margin, if you are a private person you do not change anything, if you are a company: in In the first case, you will recover the VAT, in the second, no. When you put the works in the cart you will be separated from the vat exposed.

If you DON'T LIVE IN EU and you want an EXTRA EU shipping

Many works (not all) have an exposed VAT of 22% included in the price, this vat will be spun off! Obviously you will pay the VAT to your destination country, if due. For example if you live in Switzerland you save 22% but you will have to pay 8.1% to your customs, if you live in Hong Kong you will save 22% and you will not have to pay anything to your customs (lucky you).

If you complete the purchase on the site you can use a credit card, or you can make a bank transfer. Payment in cash is accepted up to 5,000 euros physically in one of our stores. Payments in BitCoin or cryptocurrencies are NOT accepted.
