ANDY WARHOL: the king of Pop Art
Andy Warhol, real name Andrew Warhola Jr, was born in Pittsburg, USA, in 1928 in a Slovakian family.Warhol isprobably the post-war artist who most influenced the contemporary art and culture.
Thanks to his experience as commercial graphic for famous magazines like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Glamour, he developed his successful artistic intuition: the reproduction seen as emptying of meaning of subjects like famous faces and everyday objects. Warhol created the most iconic images of the XX century, for example the famous Marilyn and Campbell's Soup.
«Don't think about making art, only do it. Let the others decide if it is good or bad, if they like it or they don't. Meanwhile the others are thinking about it, you, do even more art.»
Thanks to this thought we are nowadays celebrating Warhol's art. He let the others decide what was or not was art, he only thought about creating his famous images. His idea of multiple makes possible the fact to own one of his original artwork: in this way a lot of people can enjoy his art and be protagonist, not only spectator, of Pop Art's birth. Warhol worked also for important record companies and luxury brands and he also created covers for records and magazines that became famous in all over the world. He created the record cover of Velvet Underground and thanks to his reconnaissable signature it became a real successful artwork. This happend not only for illustrations, but also for magazines, cards, records and even bills, that with the presence of his signature they acquire a new function and purpose, that is to be Art.

The works are taxed either with VAT exposed (22%) or VAT with the margin, if you are a private person you do not change anything, if you are a company: in In the first case, you will recover the VAT, in the second, no. When you put the works in the cart you will be separated from the vat exposed.
If you DON'T LIVE IN EU and you want an EXTRA EU shipping
Many works (not all) have an exposed VAT of 22% included in the price, this vat will be spun off! Obviously you will pay the VAT to your destination country, if due.
